Gull is New Zealand's original biofuel retailer, which introduced a greener way of driving to Kiwi motorists in 2007. Biofuels are made from plant or animal products that ‘grow again’, recycling the carbon emitted by the fuel used in your engine.
Powerful + clean
Gull Force 10 is a high-performance 98 Octane fuel made with 10% ethanol. Emitting up to 8% less carbon dioxide than other high octane petrols, this fuel is environmentally-friendly. Because it burns more efficiently and at lower temperatures, it provides extra octane and cleaner air. Over the last few years we’ve pumped enough ethanol to fill more than eighteen Olympic-size swimming pools and saved our Kiwi air from more than 100,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
We don't believe in wasting food or extra space and resources to produce our biofuel. The vast majority of ethanol we use is sourced from a waste by-product from the dairy industry, reducing our dependency on imported fuel and supporting rural New Zealand.
Gull Force 10 will naturally remove water from your fuel system and contains anti-corrosive additives to protect your entire engine system. All fuel tanks generally contain some water generated by condensation, with older vehicles more likely to have water in the tank. Gull Force 10 will actually clean the water from your system. Combine this with the anti-corrosive additives we use and you have a fuel that not only performs well, but looks after your engine too. The end result is that it is firing on all cylinders, all the time. Don’t you love that?
Why use Biofuel?
Ethanol is found in many petrol mixtures worldwide. In Brazil, petrol often contains up to 85% ethanol. In other countries, ethanol often makes up to 10% of petrol. New cars today are designed to enjoy a healthy amount of ethanol in their diet and actually get a good kick out of it.
With our Force 10 being 10% ethanol, that’s 10% of your fuel that doesn’t need to be pumped out of the ground as crude oil. This takes pressure off our overall carbon footprint and helps to keep our country clean and green.
Keen to get some of Force 10 grrr into your system?
We recommend you get in touch with your car manufacturer firstly, as they can advise best as to what fuels are acceptable to run in your car.
