Gull Promotion Terms and Conditions

  • The discounted fuel price is displayed on the pumps and price pylon (sign) at participating Gull sites and is available during site opening hours, while stocks last.
  • Gull New Zealand Limited reserves the right to withdraw, suspend, or amend any promotion or offer without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances or technical errors.
  • Gull New Zealand Limited takes no responsibility for system outages, payment failures, or connectivity issues that may prevent customers from receiving the advertised discount.
  • In the event of inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and promotional advertising materials, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
  • Gull New Zealand Limited runs a variety of fuel promotions, including Discount Days, Fuel Discounts, Fuel Specials, and Weekend Specials. All such promotions are governed by these same Terms and Conditions unless otherwise stated.
  • Promotions or offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other active discounts, offers, or promotions. Promotional discounts may not apply to all fuel grades unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • The discount applies to the price charged by the individual Gull site for any liquid fuel immediately before the promotional period begins. Where a promotional period overlaps with another, the discount applies to the fuel price in effect prior to the first promotion starting.
  • The promotional period refers to the advertised time(s) and date(s) the discounted fuel is available. Gull New Zealand Limited reserves the right to start a promotion or offer earlier or extend it beyond the advertised time, or to cancel/modify a promotion or offer due to site issues or operational challenges.
  • The amount, timing, duration, location, and availability of discounts are determined solely by Gull New Zealand Limited and may change at Gull New Zealand Limited’s discretion.
  • Gull New Zealand Limited’s decisions on all matters related to promotions or offers are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • By reading these Terms and Conditions and participating in Gull New Zealand Limited promotions or offers, you agree to the particulars outlined above.
  • By signing up to our notifications, you consent to receive communications from Gull New Zealand Limited about promotions, fuel specials, site launches, and other competitions and offers.

Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promotion is conducted by Gull New Zealand Limited (New Zealand Company no. 1130963) ("Promoter").

2. Promotion Period

The Gully's October Daily Wallet Wins promotion runs from 12:01am on 1 October 2026 until 11:59pm on 31 October 2026 ("Promotion Period").

3. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to persons using the Gull App in New Zealand aged 16 years and over.
  • Entrants must have a registered account and active wallet within the app.
  • Entrants may only enter using their own registered account.
  • Employees of Gull New Zealand Limited, participating sites, associated agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant.

4. How to Enter

  • To enter, customers must make a Qualifying Purchase through the app during the Promotion Period.
  • A Qualifying Purchase is a completed transaction of NZ$10.00 or more.
  • Each Qualifying Purchase receives one (1) entry into the draw for the day on which the transaction occurred.
  • Multiple Qualifying Purchases made on the same day will each receive a separate entry.
  • Transactions under NZ$10.00 do not qualify for entry.
  • Entries are automatically generated upon completion of a Qualifying Purchase. No further action is required.
  • Entries are only valid for the draw relating to the date of the Qualifying Purchase and do not roll over to future draws.

5. Invalid Entries

The following transactions will not qualify for entry:

  • Cancelled transactions.
  • Refunded or reversed transactions.
  • Fraudulent or disputed transactions.
  • Transactions that the Promoter reasonably believes have been made in breach of these Terms and Conditions or the Gull App Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  • Creates or operates multiple accounts.
  • Provides false or misleading information.
  • Tampers with the entry process.
  • Engages in fraudulent, misleading, or suspicious activity in connection with the promotion.

6. Prize

  • Five (5) prizes of NZ$100 fuel credit will be awarded for each day of the Promotion Period.
  • Each prize will be loaded directly into the winner's app wallet.
  • A total of 155 prizes will be awarded during the Promotion Period.
  • The total prize pool value is NZ$15,500 NZD.
  • Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.

7. Winner Selection

  • Five (5) winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received for each day of the Promotion Period.
  • Draws will generally take place on the next business day following the qualifying transaction date.
  • Where a draw date falls on a weekend or public holiday, the draw will occur on the next business day.
  • Customers may win more than one prize during the Promotion Period, provided each winning entry is a valid Qualifying Purchase.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to redraw any prize if a winner is found to be ineligible or unable to receive the prize.
  • The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

8. Winner Notification

  • Winners may be notified by email, SMS, app notification, phone, or other contact details associated with their account.
  • Prize credits will be loaded into the winner's app wallet once winner verification has been completed.
  • Winners may also be published on the Promoter's website, social media channels, or other promotional material. By using the Gull App you consent to having your name published on the Promoter's website, social media channels, or other promotional material. 

9. Prize Credit Conditions

  • Fuel credits will be loaded directly to the winner's app wallet.
  • Fuel credits are subject to the standard terms and conditions of the app wallet.
  • If a winner's account is closed, suspended, restricted, or otherwise unable to receive fuel credits at the time the prize is awarded, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.

10. Technical Issues and Promotion Administration

  • If the promotion is disrupted or unable to operate as planned due to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud, system errors, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the promotion.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any technical malfunction, network failure, delayed transaction, system outage, or any other issue that may affect participation in the promotion.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense, or injury suffered or incurred by any entrant arising directly or indirectly from participation in the promotion or acceptance and use of a prize.
  • Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure, interruption, delay, error or unavailability of the Gull App, or for any lost, delayed, incomplete or incorrectly submitted entries, where such failure or issue is caused by technical difficulties, system errors, network or internet connectivity issues, telecommunications failures, software or hardware failures, maintenance, or any other circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.

12. Privacy

  • Personal information collected in connection with this promotion will be managed in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws. A copy of the Promoter's Privacy Policy can be found in the Gull App or at https://gull.nz/app-terms/
  • Personal information may be used to administer the promotion and contact winners.

13. General

  • Participation in the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable laws.
  • Any matters relating to this promotion not specifically covered by these Terms and Conditions will be determined by the Promoter acting reasonably and in accordance with applicable law
